    Added Bacter100, ClearSuper, Tourmaline BC, Penac P, Penac w, Powersand special, covered with netting to separate ADA Aquasoil amazonia 2 with substrate. skeleton of layout with 2 Sudo Shouryu-Seki Stones.
    waiting for tank to clear up then start planting...

    Since you have already invested so heavily on the substrate... I suggest you create a slope (as demonstrated by Amano) and get a tool to flatten the sand. In an iwagumi setup, besides rock (which you seem to be lacking) sand slope/texture plays an important role too.

    hi bro, yea i agree with shadow, you need more rocks.. or even a big one to be a main rock as well..

    Expensive substrate you have there.

    By the way, there is no need for water to clear before planting, in fact, it is always easiest to plant when the tank is empty with just enough water to wet the substrate.

    I notice you get cloudy water in both tanks using ADA Amazonia II... I usually get clear water using the same soil tank after tank... how did you fill up your tank?

    this tank is clear after 5 hours...
