    For Biotope, the price range vary for $20 - $85.
    However, some of the price is for a pair.
    I bought my A.Caca "Double Red" @ $32
    Went down on Wednesday n saw some very nice one.
    Charles now oso have guppies n killifishes.
    Killifishies r sold in the ratio of 2 male 1 female.
    U can oso go to Far East Aquatic @ Simon Road.
    They oso stocked up apisto recently.

    joopsg, correction on the killies, i think its in a ratio of two females to one male. more than one u'll end up with a sparring match rather than a breeding frenzy

    Can try Toh Farm (tel:67950869). Price range from $5 and up. See this thread for address and more discussion.
    However, as I understand, some of their Apistos have breeded for many generations. So if you are looking for higher quality and beauty, then you have to try other sources.

    read the thread in the cichlids sections about keeping apistos. Usually cacutoides and agassizii's are popular with first timers.
