    Well, my batch of fries are 5 weeks old now.



    The sad thing is, I think I lost the mum to malawi bloat or something like that. I didn't dare to medicate the tank as the fries are not yet matured. In any case, the fries are feeding on brine shrimps, daphia, tetra bits now..

    Well, I hope I can get another pair out of the brood of 20 odds...since the female brevis...oh well..

    I will probably put up some of these nice guys up for exchange for an ocellatus or multis....

    alas, space is a premium!

    Ocellatus are very aggressive little fish indeed! The 'Gold' variety are very nice.
    Currently keeping many wild betta species and other anabantoids.
