Need Co2 Solenoid

Hi folks,

I would visiting my relatives in Singapore on 27th April. I would be there for around 15days.
Intend to visit most of the LFS around there during this trip and pick up a lot of accessories related to planted tanks

I am using a JBJ Co2 regulator. A couple of months ago the solenoid burnt off due to a waterleak from the bubble counter. Am currently using a local make.

Where in Singapore can I find the replacement solenoid ? I presume it would be at some shop selling pneumatic equipments.

Local hobbyists please guide me on the same and also shops stocking and selling planted tank accessories at competitive rates.

Have heard and read a lot abot Seletar Farmway. Is it a place having only fish breeding farms? Is a visit worth?

I am only interested to carry plants and accessories back home to India.

Ok for equipment, i suggest petmart at Serangoon north avenue 1 Blk 151, cheap and good service. In fact there's many online shops selling equipments, u can chek it out and order or reserve thru them. Replacement of solenoid is possible, but it cost almost as much as a new co2 solenoid regulator, might as well get a new one.

Hi Neelesh it will be worthwhile to visit Seaview Aquarium at seletar farmway as they carry a very wide range of equipment and accessories at good prices.

I had been to Petmart last Tuesday. Nice place if one knows exactly what he wants. As you rightly mentioned its difficult to get only a solenoid. However I tried searching the yellow pages to find about stores selling pneumatic stuff. Unable to find any.They generally stock solenoids.
As you rightly mentioned, @ Seaview - Seletar Farmway, they quoted a price which was more than 50% the cost of a new kit

Hi acc...I visited SeaView 2 days ago. Felt like a kid in a candy shop.Huge place. Spent 4 hours browsing thru the store. Picked up a few accessories.
