Acid can remove the scalely water mark. I use diluted hydrochloric acid (HCL), but you can try vinegar or lemon juice.

Regarding the "round patches of stain", I have no idea what you are talking about. But you can try see if the acid thingy works.

Remember to rinse properly afterwards hor.

    Hi William

if you are referring to the gum stuff that is left behind by double sided tape, a razor blade and zippo liquid fuel refill will do short work of it

This may be out of step w the hobby but do give Cif (white version of Zif, common household cleaning agent) a try. I've been doing alot of cleaning lately and have found that it does wonder in removing the most stubborn of gums and glues. Be sure to rinse thoroughly though.

Incidentally, are you referring to your Juwel tank in the Buy & Sell thread?

If it's the double sided tape thing you're mentioning try zippo fluid or best WD40 spray which i prefer as it does not evaporates quickly like the zippo fluid and much easier to clean of the mess.

But do remember not to spray it directly on the glass instead us a rag and spray WD40 on the rag not too litter nor too much and rub it slowly till the sticky stuff is off.

    Gd Luck.
