    Hygrophila polysperma and "willow leaf" grow very fast. I'm finding that Rotala rotundifolia is also a fast grower. Cabomba and the like also grow well but can be sensitive. You can't really beat Hornwort for fast growth but I suspect you are looking for a rooted plant.
