hi there if you can just remove the whole oyama paper and there is any sticky left over you can take the axe brand medicate oil and drip afew drips on a tissue paper and and rub it on the surface of the sticky part.the sticky part will just come off.
should be easy, just pull it out.
Thanks guys, I don't have any idea how old that paper is but the tank sure looks old and the paper itself has some stain. I'll try to remove it first then see what happens.
By the way which LFS carries that paper? Does anyone here knows how much is that per square foot? Thanks.
most LFS sells it. usually abt 1 gold coin for foot.
3M adhesive remover works if it is too difficult to remove. Just peel a little each time. I remove my 4ft backing in about 15mins.
for me i just tear it out slowly. if and of the sticky glue still stays i use the torn out part to tap on in a few times and all would be gone. you can also use nail polish remover to remove these stains.
What!!!!...there is an adhesive remover and nail polish can handle it as well.. Too bad... I've already remove that Oyama paper...the very hardway.
. I managed to removed the paper in just a few minutes but since the paper is quite old, almost all the adhesive was left in the glass. So I scrapped the thingys for 2hrs. hehe!
Anyways, thanks guys... next time I know what to do.
Cheers,
Lawrence
You must pull little by little each time, when applying new one, sponge wet with dish wash detergent, make surface wet and soapy, the place new oyama, use a window wiper to flatten the oyama, hope this help.
