My CO2 regulator is leaking. One of the guage felt cold and is misting up because of it. How can I identify the likely place of the leakage and what are the usual materials used to seal the leak?

In the event that I cant find the leak, which parts of the regulator is can be salvage and used? Solenoid?

    Thank you.

An old method is to apply soap water on it and watch out for bubbles to find the source of leak.

if it is leak, soap bubble will do the trick. It would be great if you know how to remove the solenoid part (usually black color), just incase. If not just make sure it dry before you turn it on again.

Try using shaving foam. Its better than soap.

Theres one product here in the U.S. that Ive seen engineered just for finding leaks. I forgot that product name.

Thanks everyone. Shaving foam - that's a great idea. I have tried soapy water but didnt work for me this time. I will try shaving foam and after that using blue tac to seal the leak when I find it. Thanks.

I'm sorry but Blue Tac is not going to hold the leak.

Use pipe joint compound on joints where the leaks are.
