May I know what the recommended amount of lighting for an Apistogramma tank??

Livestock: WC Ivanacara Adoketa, WC Apistogramma Kelleri 'Red Cheeks', A , WC Apistogramma Mendezi, WC Apistogramma Cruziero, WC Apistogramma Elizabethae and WC Biotoecus Operularis.
in my opinion, that would depend on whether you have plants or not. But as far as possible keep the duration constant,maybe 6-8 hours?i assume this is to let them expect lights and all and not to stress them too much. guess it depends on ure preference. I usually keep the lights on for my apistos for about 8 hours a day cos of the plants. Hope this helps.
i personally use normal lighting, no PL just change to philips daylight 15w, the aquarium standard too pink for liking, i on the lights onli when i wanna see the fish and of course during feeding. My crpts dun grow huge, the fern just has new seedlings growing from outta them roots, my moss also duyn grow generously and the nanas seem the same from when i got em, cept for a new leaf, I'm nt bothered to inject co2 so long my apistos are alrite, its OK with me. Kept em for 4 mths alredi with 15w FL.[:]
will the lighting actually affect their spawning rate/chance of spawning ?
