    I know it's an old thread, but I also know that some of our members are quite keen on this fish.

    In Chinese, these are known as "2 lines". But I don't see it in this picture. Instead, it's one thick black line. Anyone care to share identifying tips?

    Apparently, these fishes carry a hefty price tag and are not the easiest to spawn.

    Generally folks feel that those with clearly separable lines are rarer and thus highly sought after.
    As in the picture above, the other adult in the background has separate lines but a little bit faint - this could be due to the neutral mood its in.
