its becoz of the area of reddish, if I remember correctly, the triple red has red on the caudal, pectoral and the fin behind that
Simon or anyone else, do you then know which is missing from the double red? caudal, pectoral or the last one? Also, I saw from Toh's Farm that his double red is actually quite yellowish and not really red like mine. is that normal for double red cockatoos? or is it becos of environmental factors that results in the difference in the redness.
Another side question: will the triple red breed with a double red? And will the offspring be sterile? Asking becos my triple red female is suffering from dropsy for quite some time now and is still not recovering. I am hoping against hope that she'll recover. So thinking of buying a double red female if my triple red female goes to fish heaven as I can't seem to find another triple red female for sale in the market.

shld be the pectoral fins... yes, they will breed even if the male and female r of different strain
lack of red is cause to too much in-breeding... the following brooods still slowly be more and more yellow. double red means on the dorsal and caudal have red. they should be able to spawn together as they're the same species; just different colour pigmentation
yo bros can tell me if anybody selling these beauties?
