Dun have to worry. One week is fine. Just before you leave, feed them a slightly heavy meal. If need to change water, change it a few days before actual day so you can monitor it.

got my fishmate F14 Aquarium Fish Feeder for S$47.00 which gives you 14 feedings. Other feeder might differ in price and the way they position themselves.

I got it at a fish store beside Khatib Camp. You can take this as a reference.

the eheim one will do fine, ~60 at petmart, good warranty, can survive a dunking in water (don't ask...)
i suggest you use 1 feed per day
or if you like, you can set it to whatever you like, but make sure you're there to observe the first few times to make sure they eat everything
