Is that singapore moss?
Is that singapore moss?
No, it's a new type of moss which i'd known name: Layer moss.
It's need 25 degree below to grow.
Sword, did you get the moss from Bioplast?
I'm aware that Bioplast has a moss they call Layer Moss. I've seen the moss before but frankly, I'm not certain it's a new aquarium moss. It could be Singapore Moss which is known to be highly variable under different growing conditions.
I'm also a bit sceptical about the claim that it will only grow under temperatures of 25 C. With most aquarium mosses, they will do okay as long as the temperature does not go above 28 C.
In any case, if you got the moss from Bioplast, I will take a small sample from them for the professor to identify. My guess is it's another species of Vesicularia.
