Eheim Diffusor

Hi,

Anybody use the above before? I tried to search the internet and the recommendation is to connect this diffusor directly to the outlet hose replacing the rainbar.

1) Can we connect this diffusor directly to our rainbar?
2) Connect this diffusor directly to the oulet hose without the rainbar, will the water current be too big?

Please advise?

Just bought the diffusor from Petmart & installed last night without replacing the rainbar. Perfect oxygen bubbles. Just to let you guys know that if you were to connect the diffusor directly to the outlet hose, replacing the rainbar, the tank will be filled with bubbles. I tried that last night initially. I am presently using eheim 2215 for my 2ft Juwel tank.

An Eheim Spray bar when place above the water surface will create agitation. Surface agitation looses CO2.

Ive never use an Eheim spray bar for Co2 diffusion. But IMO, I would place it below the water surface with the holes pointing downwards if use as CO2 diffuser.
