Hey guys.. I need some help. I recently introduced a new second-hand driftwood into my tank. I did scald it with boiled water and soak it for a few days before adding it into my tank.
However, it seems that now there is white fungus growing on it. It's wooly and a little slimy when I try to scratch it off. I could get pictures tonight when I get home..

I need to know if it's dangerous for my fishes.. I tried googling this problem.. Apparently, some said it was, some said it wasn't. Some solutions I read were introducing shrimps to eat them.. I do have a coryfish in there, would it be sufficient?
