You can try to get them at hardware store in neighborhood shops. 2 feet ones is around 15dollars (14 watt). they comes with those 1 feet fixture too (9watt)

Hi guys,
Posted this here as I'm aware there are quite a number of DIY handy people around.
My bedroom's ceiling light is woefully dim even after replacing the bulbs (currently on the energy-saving kind, coiled type) so I'm looking to replace the fixture I have with a few strips of T5 or regular florescent lighting.
Anyone has recommendations on where to get such fixtures? I'm living around AMK area.
Thanks!

Those "made-in-china" stores is it?
I haven't seen 2 ft ones before. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.
you never look hard enough la. by the way, you can use your old T5HO on them too

Hi squee-san,
You may want to try checking out this place (http://www.dama.com.sg/super-slim-lighting.htm) in Ubi.
Heard range and prices are attractive. I may be dropping by to get some stuff this weekend as well.
Here's the map. http://maps.google.com/maps?rls=com....ed=0CBMQnwIwAA

Or visit the lighting fixture stores in the Kelantan Lane / Sungei Road area.

Thanks guys!
