    Hi just downloaded and watched a movie clip of a Japanese contest TV programs on planted tanks (those interested search in chit-chat forum... the link is posted there). Was interested in the subtrate used by most of the contestants (baked clay). What exactly are the advantages of using that as compared to what most people in Singapore would use (coarse river sand maybe?)? Please advise. Thanks!
