    i bought a hailea 150A (1/10hp) chiller from a bro here.

however there is some issue with it. i had set the temp to 25degree kick in, the chiller does kick it at time, running for around 10-15mins and stop but the issue is that, it randomly kick in, not at 26degree, while typing this, my current tank temperature is 26.8

can any bro advise me what to do?

my tank is around 10litre at most, 20x15x20cm. running with a eheim 2213 and the chiller come with a external probe which i had calibrated with a thermometer.

That's the problem when after using for sometime, the sensor got problem.
Further more i think your Chiller is not suitable on your tank size, instead you should downsize your Chiller.
Flowrate are also a factor that you should look into. Believe it or not, i used HC-100A for my 2.5 ft tank set at 26 degree, and temperature maintain accurately without using external probe...

    Re: chiller issue

if you set deasired temp to be 25, then the chiller normally will kick in either at 26 or 27. Depedning on the brand. My resun only kick in at 2 degree different

your tank is so small, way over power. for your info, I use 1/10hp for 3ft tank ...

I suggest that, you should buy a suitable new chiller to overcome this problem.

Try placing your external probe at the filter inlet
