    The reason I am asking is...I ahve one of each and can't decide if I will keep or release. If I can find mates for them, maybe will keep but I think it's kind of cruel to keep them alone with nobody to fight with. hehehe. So if anyone out there can tell me if they are ok alone...where I may find a "mate" for them...etc. Thanks.

    i think they should be fine alone. you can keep them with other compatible wild bettas as well.

    I just dumped them...into the new enisae tank. They seem much happier now, each staying on one end of the 3 footer. Both were not eating and very listless before in the smaller tanks, now they're even rushing to the food before the enisaes. So...that's where they will stay.
