any idea where i can find an electronic timer in sengkang? need some mesh too, but sengkang doesnt have any LFS. Also, what's the average price for a digital timer? can't seem to find any shops carrying it, they only have the old school type

Timer you can get from DIY shops like Home Fix / Self Fix or larger hardware shops. Mesh probably need to go to hardware shops.

Timers - Analogue $8-15, Digital more than $25.

if you keep it on, ie you don't switch off the main switch, you don't need to reset/rewound it. it goes in 24hrs format.

for electronic one, you can have more settings, like setting which day which time to on/off, unlike analogue type, you cant choose day.

i would recommend you to get the digital type... cos for analog ,evertime you push the overide.. the amount of hours on at that time also means your timer will start later everyday

huh? the override button will not change any setting that you have already set previously. so it is not true that if you push the override button, the start/stop time will change. unless you totally off the whole timer by switching off the main switch.

maybe the lousy one I got is like that.. quite troublesome.. cos if i need light to adjust something and if I take 1 hour during the time its suppose to be off,

the light on time will start one hour later at the scheduled time...

get a digital timer, it's still relatively affordable, $21 at homefix, saves you the trouble, and in my opinion it's easier to setup

Along intersection of Jalan Besar road asnd Kelantan the there is a shop there selling all sorts of wire mesh, from the first shop from Kelantan road count backwards about 3-4 shop is a shop selling all sorts of wire.

Do note I have not been there for some time and was there 2 weeks ago to buy a water heater but the shop was close so not sure if the shop still there if you do drop by please confirm can.
