    i believe yours is Ancistrus cf. cirrhosus, L309 has uniform round spots all over the body.

    hi johannes, would appreciate it if you could kindly confirm. I attach 2 more pictures of the same fish. Also, the following threads might help - Celticfish identified it as L309 (when the fish was rather young then), while Apistomaster believed it to be LDA08 Claro.
