LFS Selling Snail Killers?

Hi,

Does anyone know of LFS selling

(i) Assasin snails;

(ii) Clown loaches;

(iii) Kuhli loaches (according to some that they do eat snails);&

(iv) Puffer fishes?

I think C328 sell most of the snail killers u looking for.

Puffer fishes are the best snail killers. I heard there are also solution type of snail killers...

Not all. Checked last week and they only had the assasin snails and clown loaches.

I am actually quite hesitant to put puffers in for the following reasons:

(i) You have to remove other tank inhabitants as they tend to be aggressive to everyone: snails, shrimps and fishes alike;

(ii) Once their tasks are complete (which in my opinion will never be because some of the snails or their offsprings hide inside the substrate), you have to remove them and some how "liberate' them one way or another.

And regarding those anti-snail solution, I have the fear that the same solution might have an adverse effect on shrimps as well and as such, will not consider it as an option.

Meerkat, if you are interested in snail killers. There is someone in the marketplace area offering them FOC. Might be a good idea to see if he has any left up for grabs.

why not try the most conventional and natural method of putting a piece of slightly boiled soft lettuce into the tank for a night, preferably before you sleep, next morning all the snail will be on the lettuce.

All you need to do is slowly remove the whole piece of lettuce out of the tank with a tweezer. Repeat it a few days i believe the snail issue will not be an issue. I tried it before and was rather effective.
