New tank

Tank Specification:

2X1X1.5(h) ft tank
2X36W PL tubes 10hrs
DIY CO2 with UP401 Reactor (just added, used to be just airstone)
Base Fert was JBL AquaBasics
Gravel = Aquacolisa
Fertilization with TetraFlorapride and Aquamedi Floravit weekly from now.

Bioload:

19X Cardinal Tetras
10X Malayan Shrimps
03X Golden Panchax
03X Fake SAE (Sianz...just realised after reading up, had them for 3 months liao)
02X SAE (confirmed =))
03X Otos
01X Salvaged @feeder@ Guppy with torn tail (due to panchax i think)
03X Platinum Angels (healthy buggers from Bro Unknown!)
02X Betta imbellis

Plants:

Nuphar Japonica
E. Bhleri (swordplants)
E. tenellus as foreground and E. Quadricostatus
C. Wendtii var. Brown
unknown the rest...pls if someone can actually enlighten me on the plants i have. really lousy...thanks

Comments anyone...and also,
i know not most of the plants in there...was recommended by farm that they should be easy to grow coz i using DIY CO2
Also, my tank temp is 30+ degrees...need to apply fan.
No bubbling of plants though and i dont know why?

I have edited your picture thread into a hyperlink...

I think you may have to many big plants.....advicable to just have one center piece like the lotus, sightly more mid-ground plants to cover the endings of the wood and shorter foreground plants like dwarf hairgrass, glosso or java moss.

Thanks for the advice...but my tank temp is currently too high for moss. I was advised against using hairgrass due to the fact they to be algae-infested. All the tall plants are because i want to hide the rear which is kind of empty

using a lot of big plants to hide the rear works for now.
when they become established in your tank, they will quickly overwhelm and block most of the light.

adding a fan or 2 should bring your tank temperature low enough to grow mosses.

Actually, you can also hide those devices with tall plants not big plants. They can also give you good coverage once these tall plants are developed. Big plants tend to block the light especially in smaller tank.
