Very nice setup and rams. From the color of the female, I think she is ready to spawn anytime.

The german rams have got very intense colour. Nice rams and tank too. I agree with Nicky, the female has a pink belly and should be ready for spawn. Good luck.

Possible to house 2 pair of German Blue Ram in a 2 ft tank? Just curious..
It is possible. Currently I have 4 German Blue Ram, 2 male, 2 female in my 2ft tank. 2 of them is a confirmed partner while the other 2 is trying to be a couple. The couple will sometimes chase after the other 2, but they did not harm them. I am waiting for the confirmed couple to spawn.

can anyone tell me how to identify the female from male?
as i know..female have blue dots in their black patch.. but in this picture i saw only solid black..
except redish abdomen on one of the fish...

Yes, they are the couple pair. This female got blue dots on the black patch but it is on the other side
which I did not capture on picture. But the pink abdomen is a good tell-sign of its sex.
Will try to capture the female again next time.
