Hello all...Havn't been around here for quite sometime.Attachment and school has really taken up alot of time. All my tanks have died. Thinking it's about time to start all over again and redo my tanks.Quite depressing to see them in the state their in now.

Thinking of doing up a new setup fer a 2 ft by 1ft by 1.5 ft tank. Wanna keep it simple this time with less maintenance.Was thinking of setting up with xmas moss,java moss,mini nanas and java fern. maybe some crypts here and there. If i am not wrong this would be a low light setup right? Forgot alot of my planted tank stuff already. Anyways, what would you guys recomend for lighting wattage? 1.5watts - 2 watts per gallon? how bout bps?? 2,3 bps?? and how bout lighting hours? 6 hours when juz start and slowly pick up till about 8 hours? give it about a month 2 settle before adding fish?? wanna keep my bioload small this time. Would keeping the bioload small,fert regime more controlled and lower pH help with the prevention of algae?? The last time round BBA really spoilt my mood.

Btw,any recomendations for the carpet?? and does teo's still have ada amazonia for sale? how much per bag??
