    Hi
I thought some of you may be interested in a moss i am growing
I call it native Sydney Fissidens, I find it very adaptable in both aquarium and vivarium
I have been growing it for a few years in both situations and for me find it more attracitve and versitile than other mosses i grow
Here is a picture of it growing in my aquarium it doesnt seem to get taller than 20mm submerged.

And here is a pic of it growing in one of my vivariums

Hello Xylo, if you have doubts regarding the species in question, I suggest you visit a plant biologist in a University near where you live. There must be moss expert among them. Here in Singapore, unknown samples were sent to Professor Benito Tan here in NUS. He has identified several species from specimens sent to him by our fellow user timebomb.

While it does look like Fissidens zippelianus, perhaps you should check for local Fissidens species known to inhabit the areas around Sydney. Since it is a native moss you will probably get a hit sooner or later.
