Dose enough fert and make sure you have enough CO2 during yr lighting hrs.
Try not to add chemicals to kill algae, they are harmful to plants.

Serious? Leave it? It will definately continue to spread. I maybe changing another 30% of my tank water on wed. Most of my except is hit quite badly except my tennulus.

Remove as much algae manually as possible. If the tenellus is infected, just give them a haircut. Should not pose any problems. Next, do a check on your NO3, PO4, pH and kH. From there you then can formulate the dossage required. Look through the FAQ on dosing and if you still got problems, post your question in the forum.
Good Luck!

Well, you have tried water change. That's one corrective action. Does it mean that in the past, the tank was fine with regular water change? Perhaps one way is that you can revert to your old routine to keep the algae away.
What kind of algae did the tank get? It may help identify what's wrong. See http://www.aquaticscape.com/articles/algae.htm#types
Next, you can help by letting us know the tank details by filling in the info sheet at the top of this forum.
