Finally got my White tree frog :) some pics to share

Hi guys.

After searching high and low for the white tree frog, i finally got mine
wasn't sure if it is a pair . size about 3" - 4 ".. how can i id their sex ???



temp hold them in this small tank first while i setup mky exo terra tank

Its looking quite skinny so gutload the crickets or mealworms with carrots and other vitamins/supplements (especially calcium) before feeding them to the white's...

As for sexing your frog, for me its by looking at its throat, if its really white then its female... if its quite brackish then its male...

Hi, this is also wat i tot so ... so far one of it is feeding but the other have not fed yet and refuse cricket. any idea how to make it eat ????

oh one of my friend saw it and call me and ask me if i am interested. he bought on my behalf .. i am not sure where he bought it ... need to check with him ..

Usually they will eat on their own... so no need to force feed unless they don't eat for more then a week... sprinkle some calcium supplements on their food (e.g. crickets/mealworms/superworms) that would aid in their preventing any calcium deficiency...

Okay. If you keep it in that water for too long, I'd be worried about infections.
The second guy doesn't look too good, I'd keep them apart until my fears about chytrid fungus can be assuade.
If litoria caerulea no.2 gets weaker by the day despite eating, post it quickly and I may propose a general solution.
Please get at least a 30 gallon tank for future needs, this will be the minimum requirement for 1 or 2 whites.
Heavy frogs, provide climbing branches, and please use coconut fiber or plain potting soil for substrate. No bark chips, wood shavings or crap like that.
You've got them on a good diet, try to avoid mealworms altogether. I hope your roaches are cultured, and not from the nearby drain.

I believe you're from across the causeway, there should be many fish shops or pets shops carrying many brands of calcium supplements... but if you can get repashy products over there which I believe you can, you can try them as they're quite highly recommended...

yap i suspected the 2nd one is weaker. but i guess might be due to transport strezz. as of yesterday night it started eating roaches and crickets. the first one ate much.
meanwhile i am setuping up an exo terra tank for it once i complete my new 3 footer
roaches are cultured lolx.

yap i heard of it too ... and i checked with a friend in KL , but currently out of stock.
have to wait till new stock arrive :P

heard from my friend who helped me buy that it is from a LFS in Tiong bahru .. it belongs to the LFS owner who decided he have no time with it and decided to let go ..

i am not sure if there are any more left stock.
