    My favourite!

    Housed a pair in a 2 feet tank. Quite a showy fish IMO .

    Oppss...that's the same guy. I didnt manage to upload pic of the "lady" just now.

    They took anything. Weekdays will just feed them flakes and pellets (of different forms). Weekend will have live diet: shrimps or earthworms or "sea monkeys".

    Very nice set up for them! But won't they eat those endlers swimming around?

    The colour for the male looks good.

    Maybe but they sure like the shrimps. All my yamatoes are gone!

    They sure like shrimps a lot... Last time mine always snack on my Malayan shrimps..
    Funny now can't seems to find any Malayan shrimps for sale?

    These guys take anything that fits into the mouth and risk choking at it, given the slightest opportunity. A generously large species tank for these Betta would be a best fit model.
