hi bro, i spotted my betta have a small red scale on the fin.. is this rot on fin?? what do i do if yes?? i have changed the water 50%, added some leaf and aqua salt... am i doing it right?? please help... thanks alot...

A pic would help.. Fin rot usually isnt red color. Maybe its external parasite

If its external parasite it is unlikely. U ll need medication. Usually only fin rot or ich can be controlled witb salt and water changes. Best to figure out what the disease is first... Usually for external parasites that are cruataceans i ll just use copper safe
