MH setup???

I juz bought 2 MH for my 5 footerX2X2. How far shd I place the MH lamp apart? Any body can advice? Thanks.

20 - 30 inches apart I think.

The red triangles should have a ratio of 1.5 : 2 : 1.5.

BRO, Izzit left lamp 1.5ft frm left side, right lamp 1.5 ft from right side.

Both lamps 2 ft apart.??? Correct?

Not say 1.5ft 2 ft, but the ratio. can be 343, 686. agar agar like that. The light between the lamps overlap so distance should be further apart to prevent middle from receiving too much light.

Still a bit lost....pai seh. The height above water also affect the light beam width rite. In short , bcos I m fiiting the lights w/o my tank. Can I fit the lamps 2 ft apart? I will intall the chain to 1 ft above water. Izzit ok? can calculate for me? Thanks a lot......
