Hi,
I've had this java fern for some time, it's about 25-30cm tall and have leaves that split like a trident (tribolate?). Is this normal for java fern or is this another variety?
The unknown java fern is the one growing above the windelov. It is growing many baby plantlets.
Here is a pic I found of a similar looking java fern in www.plantella.de. Unfortunately, after using online translation, I still don't really understand what's written.

The Tropica has many jagged edges. Mine only splits 3-way. I suspect it could be Philippine, but can't find any conclusive pics.

When matured, normal java fern will usually have the trident look.
