Lushgro Micros... but it doesn't have K, Mg and Ca too.

How much Aqua are you dosing per week? What is your tank size?
From my calculations, if you dose and achieve 0.2ppm Fe per week, you are dosing 3.9ppm NO3 and 6.3ppm K.
Test kits may not be 100% correct. Do you see any adverse effects on plants with this high NO3? If no algae, then why not let it be?
Why is your NO3 high? Maybe it is due to nutrient imbalance (from K, PO4 and CO2)? Not enough lighting?

Juggler's tanks

Mike, is it the tank with 6 arowanas? If all 6 of them are still there, you're NO3 will remain high. You can't run away from that. You might want to consider reducing the bio-load.
What you can do to reduce it, is lots of fast groawing and greedy plants, maintain good CO2, and lots of light and ferts.
OR in this case consider NO3 reducing products. a number of ppl will probably say I'm nuts to recommend this, but I think it's worth a try. You have lots of NO3 and I'm sure its enough to feed the plants and NO3 reduction products. The most natural system is Dennerle's Biotrop.
OR consider a wet/dry trickle filter (AKA sump filter). It'll probably have to be almost as big as your main tank.

Well...actually I was hoping for Dr mallick to say he is coming up with a formulae like Lushgro without the nitrate version.
I have my CO2 at 30ppm, lights at 440W for 640 litre, I have lots of hair algae in my hair grass....
Just installed a chiller.....realise that the plants are growing at double time! I mean in a day you can see growth even if you walked away for just a few hours! Waiting for my balancae to pick up speed.

Where can i find Dr. Mallick fertilisers?i am growing moss only.wat Dr mallick fertilising products is recommended?

go to www.singaporehydroponics.com. Thats where u can find out all the info u need. What u wanna get depends on what u have. how is ur fauna bioload? go for Lushgromicros if uve got ur nitrates. Or else u might wanna get lushgroaqua, which contains some nitrates, so use w caution if ur bioload is already hi. I think he also has a range of other specific products, but micros n lushgro being the main "all-rounded" liquid fert. Dont think u want soil ferts since ur only growing mosses.
I know Dr Mallick's stuff can be found at ecoculture, as well as farmart. Well, the list is not exhaustive... Check out the webby..

Hi guys, I'm carrying Dr Mallick's stuff. Self collect from Bt Batok and Sengkang. PM me if u're interested![]()

Mike , do 50% 2x weekly water changes and that will take care of most overloaded systems.
Doesn't matter what you do, the issue is not NO3, it's too many/much fish, a wet/dry will help though convert all that fish waste(NH4) into NO3.
NH4 will cause algae no matter what you do if there are too many fish in there, NO3 reducers will not address NH4.
Little glass boxes have their limits, folks cannot just keep addign more anhd more and expect things to work out. Even with CO2/high light etc.
Any system can be overloaded.
If you have 6 Aros, get rid of at least 4 and I hope you have a 150-180 gal or larger tank for those two.

Tom Barr
