What are the membership privileges?

Membership privileges are base on postcount.

Members with less then 10 post count and joined AQ less then 30 days ago get:

  • 1MB photo gallery space.
  • No Private Messaging privileges
Members with 10 to 29 post count and joined AQ more than 29 days ago get:
  • Private messaging (10 stored PMs, inclusive of sent PMs),
  • Custom avatars,
  • Permission to post new threads in the Aquarium Advertisements forum, and
  • 2MB photo gallery space.
Members with 30 or more post count and joined AQ more then 89 days ago get:
  • More stored private messages (50 stored PMs, inclusive of sent PMs),
  • Custom user titles.
  • Permission to post new threads in the Non-Aquarium Advertisements forum, and
  • 5MB photo gallery space.

Notes:

  • Guests (or members who are not logged in) and unactivated members can read threads but not post.
  • Posts in the following forums do not add to post count:
    • All Marketplace forums
    • Member's Lounge
    • Forum Helpdesk and Feedback Corner

  • Members without access to the Marketplace forums, will still be able to read and reply to ads in the Marketplace forums. They just aren't allowed to start new threads.

I have reached the required criteria, why are my privileges not activated yet?

The system performs Membership upgrading once an hour, so your privileges will not be activated at the very moment you reach the required criteria.
