I am using Tropical Master Growth (TGM)
tgm must be dosed properly. 1ml too much can cause a lot of algal problems.
Actually, this is not the case.
If you look at the content of TGM, you will find that there isn't any NO3 and PO4. Imbalance in these two are one of the main reasons for algae growth and since both are not contain in TMG, your algae problem may to due to other causes.

If you are concerned about the contents, then should consider those brands which list down the contents and amounts of each nutrient. Eg. TMG, Seachem, Lushgro-Micros/Lushgro-Aqua.
