    Want to buy a cabinet for the 4x2x2 tank. Cannot decide what is the suitable height, 36" or 30"? Anyone can advise based on your past experience? Thks.

    dont make ur cabinet too high
    30" is enuff
    too high ur armpits will suffer ... like me

    make sure your cabinet got enough room to store your co2 which i think is the most bulkiest thing.

    the external filter should be the bulkiest item.
    the cabinet height is subjective.
    it depends how you want to look at your tank; standing up or sitting down or 'horse stance'.
    low tanks means easier maintenance.
