    Heheh. For all that ive wrote, ive yet to put all these theories to the test. Nevertheless, ive just filled my 3feet with cocopeat n some tw company ferts n some smatterings of laterite clay, so it'll be the trial by fire, or rather, water.

    Here goes!!

    Hmmm...... pai seh, mayb I stick to base fert. Cant mess up my 5 ft setup . Too siong to redo, if anything goes wrong.

    so anyone tried place any kind of wire mess between the fert and the top gravel??? heard that this will help in future gravel removal without disturbing the fert.

    I've thought of a wire mess too, but some roots would be to big to go through into the fert., might be good for small roots like the hairgrass...but then again when u go to pull the plants up, the roots will get caught on it...maybe if u get the right size of mess it might cut down separation
