Maybe feedback to the shop that you bought it from?
Hi guys have anyone used this soil before?i bought a packet of it and put it tinto my tank but the ph value stays at 7.5.. it had already been 1month

what other material inside your tank beside soil?
@cheetf: it has already been 1month i dont think the shop will do anything about it.
@shadow:i only have old DW, java moss, hair grass and frog bits
how about filter media? any coral chip? or maybe coral sand?
hmm... there is a packet of ceramic rings in there. Don't really know is it the same thing i search through online and the picture is the same.it is provided while i bought my tank.
normally ceramic ring is inert but who knows depend on the model.

The brand already say "UPZ"
I recall someone got a set with this soil. He notice the PH at high side he was lucky when he went back to the shop the uncle gave him another brand to change.
Later according to the salesman he said it is not meant to be use with our water. (To me it mean the soil have little buffering ability.)
If there is not livestock advice is to change it. Don't use the mentality of trying out so go for all the cheaper things if fail at least won't hurt pocket idea. Cause if you end up addicted to keeping them you will end up investing more. Even for a simple small setup go for the more reliable one.
