I was able to capture a video on my phone of the little buggers:

So I had some white ribbon bamboo planted in my live tank. I wasn't doing so great so I took it out and just have it in a pretty vase with glass and water.
Over time I have been noticing a day or so after I refresh the water I see tiny, white, round.... things "swimming" around! There's only very few, but it was enough to catch my eye. They are literally the size of a period . My plants don't seem bothered by it, but my concern if since I took these plants from my tank, they had to come from somewhere!?
Does anyone know what these could be and could it become a problem to my home tank?
They are so tiny and there is so much going on in my large tanks I have yet to spot any, plus the constant flowing water makes it difficult.
None of my frogs, fish, shrimp or snails seem affected so far.
Any suggestions?
( I can't take a successful picture due to them being SO small!)![]()

Hi
You can check this thread for info and comparison.

None of those bugs in the post pictures match what I have :/
Scuds!! I love em
Those are ostracods (aka seed shrimps)... very common in most aquarium tanks, they usually hitchhike in with plants or hardscape. There are many species and they come in many different colors, you happen to have a mixture of the whitish and brownish ones.
They are harmless and just feed on detritus, dead plant matter and algae, their population increases and decreases based on food availability.
Small fishes sometimes eat them, if they are hungry and fast enough.
