It looks like it has a solid build an i watched a video on Youtube regarding the Totto Perfect Filter(Hang On type). It should be a good filter but overpriced for a hang-on. If you want a solid hang on filter, i'll recommend the Ehiem Liberty.
Hello hobbyist,
Anyone care to share if they have or is using the above said? Intend to get 1 for my 60l tank for planted tank.

Correction...it has a all-round gasket seal & it's a hang-on canister filter.

Without having my end-user comments sounding like a product endorsement, I'm running two 2ft tanks with a model S in each & I like it.
Besides build quality, not having to deal with hoses & not having to lug the whole filter to the toilet for cleaning, plus I have 6 media cartridges to play with, it also doesn't take up additional footprint in the rack or on the floor.
The water flow is sump-like, from one compartment to another, not straight through, as in most canisters or typical HOFs & the media cartridges can be pried open to swap with other media of choice. I have one unit that's loaded with Siporax mini to maximize surface area within limited cartridge volume.
Only down side I can think of... no chiller connection & possibly price...

You're curious & I have DID. What made you guess so??

Seriously, I would go for totto than eheim liberty if I have the budget.....
Yeah, i've seen Totto filters on a friend's tanks before and i would liken them to flattened canister filters made to hang on a tank!
I do agree that they are really good as the filter volume is substantial and the water flow mimics IOS/RO unit style down/up flow paths. They have a relatively slim design too which is nice.
The only disadvantage is that they take up alot more "glass real-estate" space on the side or back of a tank, so for those who are not keen on having bulky equipment hanging off the tank, this would probably be abit too obtrusive... but for those are using tanks with oyama/wallpapered background, then these filters will be hidden from view at the back anyways so its a relatively minor issue.![]()
today i went to GC and saw this filter, it cost around 17x? with that price I rather get a 2215.
Different strokes for different folks. Hobbyists with bad back won't like to lug canisters around. No quick release connectors, spillage, etc.
Don't get me wrong. I've been a Eheim die-hard for many years & still am since their universal pumps are amongst my trusted favorites.
Main gripe with them is the fact that water flows from bottom of canister, straight through the media baskets & out through the top outlet. Dirtiest part of the filter is still at the bottom & to reach it for cleaning, I end up disturbing the bacterial colonies... not quite what I'd like to do. Newer Eheim models are now designed differently (dirtiest tray at top) but their head gasket is another story.
Bottom line is, buy what you're most comfortable with.... just like not everybody loves blue cheese!![]()

Each has it's own strong and weak points. Where price is concerned only, 2215 price also not exactly cheap compared to jebao and atman right
Same thoughts with me haha.I do agree that they are really good as the filter volume is substantial and the water flow mimics IOS/RO unit style down/up flow paths. They have a relatively slim design too which is nice.
