The back looks at curtain to me. Also, looks like there is algae on the curtain. Or it is a wall water.

hi, i guess maybe you can add more plants since you are doing low tech (the plants grow very slow). May i know the specifications of your tankset and light?

That is mini fissiden at the back... using that as wall
Tank is 45 cm
light 2xT5 @ 8 hours a day

eh, i think i saw 2 cartoon crabs, some cartoon plants on the ground& 1 cartoon monster on the treelike bogwood??
Check out my Blog on planted tank, good for newbies ( i am lazy to retype all the info i know, so please click and read below link... i hope you don't fall asleep while reading)

I am not PERFECT but I am LIMITED EDITION !!!BIG Tank comes with BIG Responsibility...as they makan a lot of $$....lol

Lol, my sister's idea.

from my understanding, if you use ADA which is nutrient/ammonia rich, you need to stock up a bit more plants or by more diligent with water changes in the initial period. I feel that for low tech tank which plants are not really expected to grow aggressively, therefore, ADA soil may not be necessary. Just my 2 cents

Any plant suggestion?

Here the picture of the tank after 3 months...

Pretty! Nice piece of wood!
