Before I remove the regulator using the wrench, do I need to release the pressure? Or just turning off the main cylinder should be enough? Sorry but this is my first time removing a co2 reg!

Showed the JBJ reg to Mr. Chan at NA. He says sometimes these pieces have leftover metal residue during manufacturing, so he opened up the solenoid and cleaned it with pressured gas, then he put some kind of gel around the solenoid spring and put everything back together.

I have now reinstalled the reg on the cylinder and so far did not see any bubbles coming out when the solenoid is off. My timer kicked in about an hour ago and the solenoid is now on with 1 bps coming out.

But I think I will know for sure tomorrow morning once everything runs its course.

Thanks for your help and advice Sawzai!
