First time planted aquarium

Hey guys ,
This will be first time here and to try to aquascape my aquarium... My tank has been running for 10 days now ... Was wondering if you could give Le some tips on how to place my plants and ornaments for my future scaping ... :-) would love to create a carpet around the tree ... But don't know where or how to start .. All help and advice is welcome .. Not bad looking good! Seems like the tank is well lit enough. What about CO2 or fertilisers. are you using any?

Just my two cents but perhaps you can consider using Jap H.G as a foreground plant. i think it will look pretty awesome when it has covered the whole tank.
