is my tank ready for CRS?

ph is 5.3-5.5
gH is 3

using ada amazonia soil and have been cycling for more than a month already.

tank is filled with moss, no rocks to alter gH. currently have 5 yamato that have been living inside for a week. also have fast growing hornwort and frogbit to compete with algae.
would not be turning on my chiller till it is ready for shrimps.

What is the parameter for your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?

Do measure them just to be sure... If ammonia zero and nitrite zero with nitrate being less then 25ppm, it should be ready to put in shrimps.. But try putting in some test shrimps which are going to be inside first.. Patience works wonders..

Time for some commando shrimps.

I had been cycling my tank for 7 weeks already. Can see green Algae booming in the tank.

Still cycling with 5 fishes. However my tank ph is still very low. Maintaining at 5.1

Just bare soil without any driftwood.

What fish do you put in there? Try to get PH to 5.5 to 6.0 and GH around 4 - 5.
