what is the temperature of your tank water now?

I started my shrimp tank consisting of some fire reds, rilis, tigers and sakuras about 6 months back. Everything was good and the shrimps where reproducing nicely until recently. I have not seen a berried mama for the last 6 weeks?
Feeding, WC etc, has been constant. I do not check the parameters though.
My tank is 23 x 20 x 24 cm. I reckon I have about 40-50 shrimps + shrimplets + 3 apple snails now.
Is it overcrowded?

The tank is in my office. Fluctuates between 25 degrees when I am in office with the air con on and up to 31 degrees when I am not in office. It has been like this since day 1 when I set up the tank.
I've had that number of shrimps in a tank with similar volume (its my shrimp-only nursery tank) and the population seems to stall at those numbers too... i guess the shrimps probably temporarily "stop production" due to space limitation.![]()

I guess it is time to upsize....

IMO its too overcrowded and not good for the long run
