I have boraras brigitae and otocinclus in my shrimp tank and they don't seem to attack/eat the shrimps/shrimplets. The shrimps don't look bothered by their presence as well. No experience using no planaria so can't comment.

Hi,
My tanks are hit with hydras, plant of them, have read that no planaria seem to be good to combat them, also flubenzadone.
please share on your experience to combat hydra using no planaria or flubenzadone. which is better? i saw no planaria selling at y618 but can't find flubenzadone.
also am looking to buy some almost shrimp safe fish, maybe galaxy rasbora or any rasbora. Which rasbora is safe and where can i buy them?
thanks for all replies!![]()

will using gush catch pen work?![]()

Gush catch pen would not work for hydras. Personally had good experience with no planaria for hydra haha. Flubendazole unless you know the dosage, best not to use.
i see i see![]()

bro.. get a few otos.. can help to clear those uneaten algae sticks that you feed to your shrimps.. 100% shrimp safe too.

Yeah maybe will get an sae. Still looking for dwarf spotted boraras and no planaria since seems like Singapore can't get flu or fenbenzadone. Anyone have leftover no planaria to sell to me. 1 pack is so big!
