    I noticed some LFS are selling another species of Blyxa that is taller (8-10") than B auberti and green in colour. Anybody know the ID fo this Blyxa ?

    Blyxa aubertii can grow to 2ft long. See this post http://www.aquaticquotient.com/phpbb...ic.php?t=17990 for the 1ft version.

    The 8" specimen you saw is probably still young.

    Cyperus helferi is also another similar looking plant growing to 2ft long.

    I have seen both young and mature B auberti in planted tank. This one is entirely light green in color. I bought it from the shop beside NA and I have aslo seen it at Fu Wo and Keong Seong. I have seen them side by side and they look different.
