PH cannot be lower.

Hi All,

I used to used PH minus to lower my PH level in my tank, but after the kind bros here taught me not to do it, I have done 3 water change already this week and I have try to adjust the CO2 injection to lower my PH. KH is constant at 3. But it does not seem to work. The PH is at 7.0

Anybody can help ??

Check your bps rate, are you sure you are on 8bps??????

What is amount of water (gallon) for your tank?

My bet is that you are losing loads of CO2 from the sump filter. Reduce splashing in the sump and things should fall into place. 8bps for a 3ft tank is way too much imo/ime. 2-3bps is about right for a tank of this size for a start. Use pH and KH readings to regulate the amount of CO2 to be added.

high buffer in your water i think- use RO-DI, plus your co2- guarranty you will see 6.5 at least!

instead of aiming to drive PH down, its good to maintain a stable PH. I myself would like to aim for 6.6-7 on constant. Most of your fauna will do well in this water parameters. Dont worry too much.
