A fan ability to cool is dependent on the ambient temperature of the room.

    cooling fan for 422

It is very very hard to cool a tank size like 422, it would be better if you use a chiller

    cooling fan for 422

I am not sure. But if you want to try, I would recommend you using those 120mm X 120mm AC fans instead of the normal DC fan we used for smaller tank. You can also use those clip-on fan that can be purchased from NTUC.

Or, you might want to look for those air curtain type fan,, the one usually found when you enter an air conditioned shop.

you can use any floor standing fan that you have a home; for a rough gauge of what you can achieve.
adjust the fan so that air is blow across the water surface to assist in evaporation rate.

right now, you may not mind the evaporation. after a few round of regular water top up, you are likely to change your mind.

try to use DC fans if you plan to place them near or on top of your aquarium. water and electricity does not mix.

my water drops 2-3% daily at least, on my 3 footer... fan chilled.

422 evaporated water you top up.... imagine if you manually top up with pail... MY GOD....
unless you have auto top up system, you will soon feel the dread of topping up water...
