thanks, i actually have another pump running a chiller, just that it isnt in the photos taken. =)

I was told by a friend that the foam background which i used for the tank (in 1st photo) is not shrimp safe.. i bought it from lfs (NA), i think it should be aquarium safe? Anyone had problems using these foam backgrounds in shrimp tank?

I encounter two experience on this using foam as my crs tank partition, one at home and another at office. Both didn't survived. I think it is not shrimp safe.

thanks bro, I'm using ADA amazonia soil.

Now I'm caught in a dilemma.. wanting to remove the foam yet worry about the ammonia spike due to disturbance to substrates..

Maybe can just give a try, just let it be, don't add in anymore shrimp, anyway the shrimp is berried already. I might be wrong.

Need some advise here.. I am running a Hailea HS28a chiller, family complaining that its too noisy for the living room. Any better suggestion? is JBJ Arctica quiet when operating?

thanks for the info. this shows that as time goes by, even the best technology like artica will get as noisy as lower range product like hailea.
